Description

Beekeeping Experience in the Wildflower Hills

Your day begins with a deep dive into the fascinating world of bees, guided by a passionate saxon family of beekeepers from Lovnic village. Protected by a beekeeper suit, you’ll explore real hives, learn how bees live and work, and hear about their essential role in maintaining biodiversity. Transylvania’s untouched meadows – with over 200 species of wildflowers per square meter – create an ideal environment for organic beekeeping. Optionally, you can extract your own honey to take home, making this a sweet memory in every sense.

Viscri – The Iconic Saxon Village

Next, step back in time as you enter Viscri, one of the most famous and well-preserved Saxon villages in Romania. With its cobblestone lanes, pastel houses, and fortified church dating back to the 13th century, Viscri offers a glimpse into rural life as it once was. It’s a place where tradition is still alive, and where every corner whispers stories of resilience and community.
