Start the day by hiking Tampa Mountain. A natural protected area, this easy hike is very rewarding for every hiker allowing a glimpse into the amazing wildlife of the Carpathians. The top of the mountain offers spectacular views of the old city and allows you to capture a bird view of the city you will explore next.
The morning will take us to Bran Castle where the legend of Count Dracula is kept alive all year round. Built in the 13th Century, Bran Castle is an intriguing hilltop fortress, and one of the most famous landmarks in Romania.
In the morning head to Sinaia to visit the royal summer residence. Peles Castle was built at the end of 1800s at the foothills of Bucegi Mountains and remained one of the favorite summer residences of the Romanian Royal Family until their forced abdication in 1947.
Start the day heading north through the beautiful hills of Transylvania, to one of the best kept secrets of the Saxon land. Viscri, a UNESCO monument, it’s as charming as the story goes.
