Hiking Bran Area
Follow the old paths above the mountain villages of Moeciu-Bran area. With spectacular views of the Carpathian Mountains, these trails offer incredible insights into the traditional life of the Romanian mountain villages and challenge every hiker with its beautiful and diverse paths. On our trail, we will arrive at the Transylvania Amphitheater, a marvelous ecological complex, which has 200 years old houses. All of them have been recently restored and a local restaurant and natural retreat was opened by a Moldavian family. They simply fell in love with this place and decided to move here. Every season has it’s own beauty so, no matter when you’d like to arrive, the landscapes are simply breathtaking.

Easy/medium 8 to 12 km trail , 400 -500 m elevation height, total 5 to 6 hours hike on wide paths with no exposure or dangerous cliffs.
This trip is suitable to families or any other groups of people that can walk on various terrain for half a day. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level .

Hiking Bran Area – Schedule:
Hiking Bran Area – Pick up time is at 8:30 A.M. from your accommodation in Brasov. Driving to Moeciu Village will take us about an hour. This is the place where our hiking trip starts. The picnic (included in the price) will take place on a very beautiful area surrounded by local farms and best views over Bucegi Mountains. You will also have the opportunity to taste a coffee or tea at a local restaurant, at your own expense, in the Transylvania Amphitheater, a place where heaven is still present on Earth. The total length of the hike + picnic will be around 5-6 hours. We return back to Brasov around 5 P.M.
