Lake Sfânta Ana: We begin our journey from Brașov and head to the enchanting Lake Sfânta Ana, Europe’s only volcanic lake. From here, we will take a leisurely walk from the main parking area to the lake, allowing you to explore the picturesque surroundings. Please note that vehicles are not permitted near the lake. While there is no regular transportation service available, certain accommodations can be made free of charge for disabled individuals, pregnant women, and those with similar needs. Please bear in mind that transportation provided for these categories is only available on request, by the local staff, and it is not something that we may provide.
Lake Sfânta Ana (Lake Saint Anne) is located in the heart of Harghita County, one of the counties within the Szeklerland (Ținutul Secuiesc) region. Easy 3 km trail, 200 m elevation height, total 1 to 2 h of hike on wide paths with no exposure or dangerous cliffs. This trip is suitable to families or any other groups of people that can walk on various terrains for 2 hours. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level .
