DAY 1
Bucharest – Cantacuzino Castle – Bran Castle – Brașov
We will leave Bucharest early in the morning to ensure we have enough time to enjoy every stop on our journey. Final pick-up details will be discussed before your arrival.
Our first destination is Cantacuzino Castle, located in the picturesque mountain town of Bușteni. Built in 1911 in Neo-Romanian style, this elegant residence once belonged to the prominent Cantacuzino family. The castle is surrounded by a nice garden and offers great views of the Bucegi Mountains. It is known for its stone walls, stained glass, and the Cantacuzino family’s coat of arms. Parts of the popular Netflix series Wednesday were also filmed here.
Next, we head to the legendary Bran Castle, often associated with Count Dracula. Here, we’ll uncover the truth behind the Dracula myth, explore the medieval chambers, and perhaps even visit the torture room. The castle, perched on a dramatic hilltop, is one of Romania’s most famous and photographed landmarks.
We’ll end the day with accommodation in a comfortable hotel in Brașov. All details about your stay will be arranged ahead of time.

DAY 2
Brașov – Sighișoara Medieval Town – Viscri Village – Brașov
We begin our second day with a drive through Transylvania’s scenic countryside toward Sighișoara, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Built by German settlers in the 12th century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its colorful houses, cobbled streets, clock tower, and fortified walls. It’s also the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Dracula.
From Sighișoara, we continue to the picturesque village of Viscri, made famous by King Charles, who owns a restored traditional house here. Viscri is a prime example of Saxon heritage, with its impressive fortified church (also UNESCO-listed), charming museum with local crafts and costumes, and peaceful rural vibe. You can even climb the church tower to take in the stunning views of the village and countryside.
A traditional lunch is included and will be served in Viscri, at a local guesthouse. Enjoy freshly cooked, homemade dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients — a true taste of rural Transylvania.
After a day full of history and culture, we’ll return to Brașov where you can enjoy your evening at leisure.

DAY 3
Bear Sanctuary – Peștera Village – Overnight in Brașov
Our final full day begins with a visit to the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zărnești – the largest brown bear sanctuary in the world. Located in a 69-hectare oak forest, it’s home to over 110 rescued bears, many of which were saved from captivity or poor living conditions. The morning is the best time to visit, as the bears come out for feeding and are most active.
From here, we’ll travel to Peștera, one of the most peaceful and picturesque mountain villages in Romania. With its quiet trails, majestic views, and timeless charm, Peștera offers a rare chance to disconnect and feel truly present. The village is still deeply connected to tradition, and the pace of life here is slow.
A packed lunch will be provided to enjoy during the day.
After a relaxing time in Peștera, we will return to Brașov for your overnight stay. If you’d like to extend your stay or explore more of Romania, just let us know — we’re happy to help plan your next adventure.

DAY 4
Peleș Castle – Transfer to Brașov or Bucharest
On the final day of your tour, we visit the magnificent Peleș Castle, a masterpiece of Neo-Renaissance architecture nestled in the Carpathian Mountains. Explore its elegant rooms, intricate woodwork, and beautiful gardens while learning about the history of Romania’s royal family.
After the visit, you will be comfortably transferred back to either Brașov or Bucharest, depending on your travel plans and preferences.
