What can I say, from start to finish Romana gave us an unforgettable tour.
We visited the bear sanctuary, a drive through some villages in the mountains and Bran castle.
Romana was extremely informative about Brasov and the region.
The highlight for us was actually sitting in a beautiful village on the grass, taking in the most incredible views and listening to Romana relaying her story of the unification of Transylvania, Moldova and Wallacahia by Vlad the impaler!!
Its as though we were children again, completely mesmerised by her story telling.

A group of 4 of us took the day trip to Sighisoara and Viscri with our guide Dinu.  He picked us up at our hotel and escorted us on a wonderful tour of these two amazing historical locations in Transylvania. Dinu assessed our desires and abilities and went at our pace and gave us great information about the sights we were able to see and experience. We did a lovely trip today with our guide, Romona. We went from Brasov to Liberty Bear Scantuary. Abosultley amazing the work they are doing to save these lovely Brown bears. You get see quite a few of them reasonably close up. From there we spent a few hours at Bran Castle. The stories about this castle is great as is the castle itself. From here we had a lovely lunch in Bran then on the way back to Brasov we stopped at Rasnov fortress.
Ramona was very knowledgeable about each location and about Romanian history

My family and I just had an amazing day trip with Ramona through “Day Trips Brasov”.She worked with us in advance to discuss  our interests and then customized the day around exactly that. We got to see some less touristy spots, in addition to the bear sanctuary, and Rasnov fortress.  She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, a safe driver with a pristine 3 row vehicle to fit our whole 6 person group. We had an excellent day trip to the Libearty Bear Sanctuary and mountain villages with Ramona.  She provided us with a wealth of information about Romania, was an excellent driver and did not make us feel rushed. My group of three did several tours with Day Trips Brasov and all of them were incredible! We got to have many off the beaten path adventures as well as spots that are highly popular (with good reason!). Ramona was a fantastic guide and she made sure to communicate with us so we would know what to expect and helped to customize one of our tours to make the best of our experience. Booked our trip to Viscri and Sighisoara with Ramona 1 whilst still in the UK - she was fantastic answered all our questions, put us in the diary and asked for payment on the day of the trip incase we changed our minds… who actually does that nowadays?? 😊 She sent all the information in advance and our meeting place together with the name of our guide - Ramona 2. What a fantastic and lovely lady from the offset she was knowledgeable, chatty, professional and made our trip an amazing experience. If you are coming to Brasov look them up you will not regret it - it was actually cheaper to book a private tour with them and the express second to none. Highly recommend! We did two different trips. One - bear watching experience. It was thrilling. A short walk to a safe comfortable hut to watch for bears. There was a large adult right when we arrived and he hung around for a long time. Our guide Lucian was very informative and truly loves the bears. We also did an all day trip -- the land of volcanos  and healing waters. A really unique experience. We seemed to be the only tourists there for the healing waters. It was all locals.
