Bucharest – Peleș Castle – Cantacuzino Castle – Prejmer Fortified Church – Arrival in Brașov
Your adventure begins with a visit to the stunning Peleș Castle, one of Romania’s most famous landmarks. This first day is a true invitation to time travel — you’ll explore three remarkable castles, each with a distinct personality, layered histories, and set against spectacular backdrops that seem lifted from a fairy tale.
Next, uncover the charm of Cantacuzino Castle, affectionately nicknamed the “Wednesday Castle,” as it served as a key filming location for the beloved Netflix series Wednesday. With its stone terraces and mountain views, it’s a hidden gem in the Carpathians.
Then, step back in time at the Prejmer Fortified Church, a rare and imposing example of medieval defensive architecture, proudly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
As the day comes to a close, you’ll arrive in the enchanting city of Brașov, your home for the next four nights — a perfect blend of old-world charm and vibrant culture.

DAY 2
Brașov City Tour – Gastronomic experience
In the morning, enjoy a guided tour of Brașov’s charming medieval old town, with its narrow streets, colorful buildings, and vibrant history. The afternoon brings a unique culinary experience. You’ll visit the local market to sample five different types of traditional Romanian cheese. Next, head to a favorite local restaurant where you’ll taste the most delicious mici (grilled sausages) accompanied by a local beer, as well as traditional Romanian spirits like pălincă and afinată or vișinată.
In the second part of this experience, after the local market visit and the famous mici tasting, you’ll head up to Poiana Brașov ski resort for a short scenic walk and some fresh mountain air. From there, the journey continues to a nearby shepherd’s hut turned into a sophisticated, yet traditional restaurant, where you’ll experience a true taste of Transylvanian cuisine: sarmale (cabbage rolls), carne la garniță (meat stew), and bulz (a rich cornmeal and cheese dish), topped off with a traditional dessert: papanasi. The experience will be complemented by a drink of your choice.
All meals described are included as part of this unique, food-focused day in Brașov.
This is a food lover’s dream day!

DAY 3
Bear Sanctuary & Pestera and Magura mountain villages
Today, visit the Libearty Bear Sanctuary, home to rescued brown bears. Learn about the sanctuary’s mission and get up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural environment.
Afterward, venture into a few close mountain villages where you’ll get a glimpse of rural Transylvanian life. Discover traditional ways of living in these remote, picturesque villages.
Depending on your preference, we can organize a leisurely two-hour walk through the villages, offering the chance to fully immerse yourself in the landscape. Alternatively, we can take scenic drives with stops at some of the best viewpoints to soak in the beauty without the hike.

DAY 4
Viscri village & Sighișoara
Experience the charm of Viscri, a Saxon village famous for its fortified church and traditional houses. King Charles has a deep affection for this place and owns a restored house here, drawn by its authenticity and timeless beauty. Enjoy a homemade lunch with two courses and dessert, prepared by local villagers in their own home. Don’t miss the chance to taste homemade socata (elderflower lemonade). All meals for this specific experience are also covered.
Afterward, visit the medieval town of Sighișoara, one of the best-preserved fortified cities in Europe and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure who inspired Dracula.

DAY 5
Bran Castle – Return to Bucharest or Sibiu
On your last day, visit the well known Bran Castle, often associated with the Dracula legend. Explore its narrow corridors and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Afterward, you’ll return to Bucharest or Sibiu.
If departing from Brașov, additional attractions can be added to the itinerary to complete your unforgettable journey.
